FAQ

What is the difference between a dry treatment sealer and Forever Sealed?

The dry treatment sealer process applies a 15 year warranty to any treated surfaces, and holds many exclusions such as all spills must be wiped up immediately and you cannot use cleaners such as Windex on the surface.  Many sealing professionals who use the dry treatment sealer also recommend that you have your countertops resealed with their process every 5 years, and while their process does add some protection to the surface there are no guarantees against staining.  With Forever Sealed we use an exclusive nanotechnology giving you a lifetime warranty against staining on the surface, and making your countertops maintenance free for the lifetime of the stone.  The warranty also does not have the same exclusions as the dry treatment sealer, meaning that you don’t have to worry about wiping up spills immediately and you are free to use everyday household cleaners on the surface.   Why would you want to seal your countertops every year to five years, when you can seal it once and forget about it?

Is the Forever Sealed coating colorless?

Yes, Forever Sealed is a clear coating that is guaranteed not to discolor for the lifetime of the stone.

Will Forever Sealed make honed surfaces shiny?

No, this product will only enhance the color of the stone and will not make honed or brushed surfaces shiny.

Will I still need to clean my surface once it is sealed?

Yes, Forever Sealed will dramatically reduce cleaning time but it does not eliminate it.

What do I use to clean the surface?

Once the Forever Sealed process is applied, you can use any non-abrasive household cleaner to clean the surface.  We also suggest that you use our revitalizer product on occasion to maintain the sealant.
